CROWN NIPS CASA ELETTRICA TO STAY ALIVE, 92-87
Crown Pipes just made the race to the Final Four a little bit more interesting by turning back Casa Elettrica and grab their 2nd win in 5 tries, 92-87.
With one more game left versus idle Multiline this coming Saturday, Crown is hoping to barge in the playoff round with a win that will push them to a 3-3 record and at least a three-way tie for the fourth spot in the playoffs. (more…)

HCG LAZULI SQUEEZES LIFE OUT OF CASA ELETTRICA, 89-79
HCG Lazuli made Casa Elettrica’s elimination from the Final Four official as they themselves strengthened their bid with a rousing win, 89-79.
HCG Lazuli climbed to 2-2 in a tie for 4th place with Moldex as they whipped Casa Elettrica into submission in the final quarter. (more…)

BOYSEN NOW 4-0 WITH WIN OVER CASA ELETTRICA, 75-69
Boysen continued its winning ways, coming through in its 4th straight close contest to stay on top of the standings, waylaying Casa Elettrica with a narrow 75-69 victory.
Boysen is now virtually assured of a spot in the final four playoff format in the 2008 ABU Corporate Cup 1st Jam. Casa Elettrica is pushed to the brink with its 3rd straight loss, needing to win its remaining three games to salvage any hope of playing beyond the elimination round. (more…)

MULTILINE ESCAPES CASA ELETTRIKA, 87-77

Multiline found its groove in the dying minutes to turn a close contest into a late rout, subduing Casa Elettrika for its first 2008 ABU CorpCup Win, 87-77.
Finding themselves in a dogfight late in the second half with a very feisty Casa Elettrika squad, Multiline gathered strength from its reserves to build a cushion that they capitalized on until the final buzzer. Multiline put forth another balanced performance as a team, having four players score in double digits, with three others scoring 7 and 8 points. Multiline also had 18 assists and 12 steals, a testament to the team’s improving chemistry on both ends of the court. (more…)
