MyAbu.Ph – ABU, Atin ‘To

Greetings fellow-ABU members!

The elections for the 2009 ABU Board of Directors were held last November 22, 2008 during the regular tournament games at the CCP. Counting immediately followed after last member present cast his vote and while the third game was being played. The ballot counting was administered by myself (Mike Tomeldan) and Roger Ong who both served as COMELEC. The counting was witnessed by ABU member Jeff Gaw.

The results of the elections were as follows:

1. Mark Soriquez – 37
2. Manny Fernando – 36
3. Epoy del Rosario – 35
4. Andrew Ambatali – 34
5. Joseph Gaytano – 33
6. Neil del castillo – 31

There was a tie for the seventh slot between Serge Chua (29) and Kenneth Trinidad (29). The resolution of the tie for the the 7th director position will be announced later.
